Bce come la Fed: i tassi dell'eurozona rialzati di 50 punti base

la corsa della stretta monetaria rallenta. Lagarde: “Le prossime decisioni dipenderanno dai dati”

Il Consiglio direttivo della Bce ha annunciato giovedi 15 dicembre l’aumento di 50 punti base dei tassi di interesse, con effetto dal 21 dicembre, sulle operazioni di rifinanziamento principali rialzato al 2,50%, su quelle di rifinanziamento marginale che sale al 2,75% e sui depositi presso la banca centrale portati al 2,00%.

Sul fronte delle proiezioni l'istituto di Francoforte ha indicato una performance del Prodotto interno lorodo aggregato del 3,4% nel 2022, dello 0,5% nel 2023, dell’1,9% nel 2024 e dell’1,8% nel 2025”.

Nella consueta conferenza stampa la Presidente Lagarde ha dichiarato che la Bce prevede per l'eurozona una contrazione nel quarto trimestre 2022  e nel primo del 2023, annunciando una "leggera" recessione tecnica, evidentemente "di breve durata ”.

L'inflazione per Lagarde rimarrà persistente nell’eurozona a fornte anche della “crescita dei salari”, che si “sta rafforzando”.

La Presidente si è soffermata anche sull'impatto dei “sussidi (che i governi dell’Eurozona stanno varando per aiutare i consumatori a far fronte al carobolletta e caroenergia) faranno scendere per ora l’inflazione, ma poi la faranno risalire”.
