Euro area annual inflation up to 2.4%

In Germania l'inflazione su base annua è aumentata a +2,6%, in Francia dell'1,8% mentre in Italia dell'1,3% ed è risalita in Spagna al 2,8%

EU/EN - Annual inflation in the euro zone rose for a third straight month to reach 2.4% in December, statistics agency Eurostat said.
The preliminary reading marked an increase from a revised 2.2% print in November. Core inflation held at 2.7% for a fourth straight month while services inflation nudged up to 4% from 3.9%.

Inflation recorded uneven values ​​in the large European countries. In Germany, inflation on an annual basis stood at +2.6%, in France at +1.8% while in Italy at +1.3% and rose in Spain to +2.8%.
 

IT - L'Eurostat ha diffuso il dato preliminare sull'andamento dei prezzi al consumo in area euro a dicembre 2024.

L'inflazione nell'area euro ha registrato un incremento annuale del 2,4%, in aumento rispetto al +2,2% di novembre 2024 e in flessione rispetto al +2,9% dello stesso mese dello scorso anno. Il dato è stato in linea con il consensus degli analisti. La componente servizi ha avuto la più rapida crescita (+4% rispetto a dicembre 2023).

Su base mensile i prezzi al consumo nell'area euro hanno registrato un aumento dello 0,4%.

Il dato core (che esclude cibo, energia, alcol e tabacco) ha evidenziato un incremento del 2,7% su base annuale.

Il dato è stato disomogeneo nei principali paesi dell'UE. In Germania l'inflazione su base annua si è attestata al +2,6%, in Francia al +1,8% mentre in Italia al +1,3% ed è risalita in Spagna al +2,8%.
